The Inn at Pleasant Lake Celebrates 150th Anniversary

Rich in culture and history, 2018 marks the 150th Anniversary for the Inn at Pleasant Lake in New London, NH and a year-long celebration.

Originally built as a private residence in 1790, the property was later purchased by retired Union officer Colonel William Messer and established as the Inn. With breathtaking views of Pleasant Lake, the location became the epitome of a charming B&B and escape from city life.

The history of the Inn at Pleasant Lake is honored by current owners, Jennifer & Scott Reed. 150 years later, guests are still invited to enjoy the landmark that offers a unique dining experience at Oak & Grain and the opportunity to create memories at a spot special to many.

To celebrate the historic anniversary with the community, the Inn at Pleasant Lake is offering activities each month and throughout the year! Gather at the Garden Party on May 27th, perfect your barbecue skills during their outdoor class on July 11th, or compete in their Pie-a-Palooza baking competition in November.
